Tax Programs
Several tax incentive programs are available to alleviate certain state and local tax liabilities relative to qualifying projects.

Certain municipalities within York County have adopted Local Economic Revitalization Tax Assistance (LERTA) programs which allow the deference of real estate taxes based on the increase of assessed value, over ten years.

York County has several designated Keystone Opportunity Zones (KOZ) which provide state and local tax abatement to businesses locating within a KOZ, for the remainder of the authorized time period.

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania also has tax credit programs based on job creation and research and development.
