A strong plan for sustainable development begins with a clear vision for economic growth. With the input of a variety of public and private stakeholders, the York County Economic Development Plan identifies overarching goals as well as regional visions for economic development and growth within the county. York County’s overarching goals for economic development include: management of growth, conservation of rural and scenic areas, and protection of agriculture.
