2010-2011 Membership Campaign
YCEDC is a membership organization. We invite you to join over 200 businesses and local governments in support of increasing the economic base and improving the quality of life in York County. This is a unique opportunity for your company to invest in the future economic growth of York County.
The YCEDC is a non-profit corporation primarily funded through federal, state, county, and other local grants, loan fee income, and annual memberships. YCEDC members agree to recognize that the YCEDC is the economic development agency for York County and through membership support economic development initiatives in York County.
Members of the YCEDC consist of organizations or entities represented by senior level management from the public, private, and non-profit sectors. The YCEDC Board of Directors is nominated and elected by the membership at the Annual Meeting in January. Members are informed of issues relating to economic development that affect York County, and the programs and events of the YCEDC through the monthly e-news, quarterly newsletter Developments, and the annual report.
There are 7 levels of membership. Retired individuals or persons not affiliated with a company are invited to join for a fee of $60 annually while memberships for private and non-profit companies ranges from $150 to $6,000 annually. The public sector (county or municipal governments) receive complementary memberships. Membership extends from July 1 to June 30 time frame.
