RR Donnelley Renews & Expands Lease
Brasler Properties and New Boston Fund, owners of the York Business Center announce the signing of a ten year lease renewal by its tenant, RR Donnelley and Sons in the 1.5 million square foot mixed use development. Chris Brasler, CEO of Brasler Properties noted that it's especially rewarding to ownership to have Donnelley, its first tenant in the completely modernized former Caterpillar Manufacturing plant in 2002, confirm their long term commitment to the YBC and even increase their space to 685,000 square feet. This will allow Donnelley to expand and add new operations at the Springettsbury Township, York County location. Improvements to the property include an expanded access road from the new Concord Road Extension at the East end of the 126 acre property, and new high efficiency systems. Patrick Lafferty of C B Richard Ellis's Harrisburg office represented the tenant.

Brasler said that the complex is now 95% occupied with logistic and warehouse distribution operators LTS, EGL and Hanover Terminal; York Plant Holdings, an electric co-generator, The BonTon Stores offices, Morex, an importer, converter and distributor of ribbon products. Available industrial space is being offered by John VanBuskirk and Jack Shepley of the Industrial Group of NAI-CIR. Additionally several recently subdivided retail commercial sites of 2-12 acres  are now being offered at both the properties West entrance at Memory Lane and Butterfly Boulevard and at its East Concord Road entrance along the  border of Route 30 with the soon to open York Town Center. Retail properties are being offered by George Lulos and William Aiello of the Harrisburg office of C B Richard Ellis Company.

Brasler lauded the far sighted decision by the Board of Supervisors and staff of Springettsbury Township to designate the property Flexible Development Zone to encourage the mixed use development to recycle this important commercial location in York County.
