County Economic Development Corporation
The York County
Economic Development Corporation (YCEDC) is a non-profit organization
established to serve as York County’s leading resource for
facilitating economic development and to work with public and
private sectors to enhance the overall quality of life.
YCEDC's original
purpose was primarily to administer state loan programs. The Corporation's
focus has expanded to include the development of industrial parks,
formation and spin-off of other economic development projects,
and aggressive business retention and recruitment programs. Over
the past several years, YCEDC has become identified as the economic
development problem solver for York County. YCEDC is perceived
as one of the most competent and creative economic development
entities in the state.
